15 minute thoughts

For our life lessons I want to share thoughts that will take 15 minutes or shorter to write.  So you are now saying ok so.   I know that doesn't mean too much but I should be able to post more.

I have heard today and saw someone tell me that they understood what we were talking about, yes they were doing ok on some of it, but then when someone else worked with them and after they left, they still didn't know as well as they were letting on.  to what we thought.

We are all like that, and then again, we might learn a lesson that those types of people really do know.

  1. Life is a lot like stew if you think about it.

    Meat:
We get comfortable with what we do, what we know, and fail to grasp beyond our comfort zone.
Sad to say, life becomes flavorless.

    Veg:
We jump outside our comfort zone, then try to bite off a little more than we are able to chew.
A little color has been added, but is the burn out worth it?

    Seasonings:
Learning how to balance the fine line between ditching a bland life, and experiencing a grand case of "why did I do this in the first place?" is a process that takes time.
Too much of one thing, and not enough of another could easily upset the whole plan.

    Broth:
Things are really cooking now. Most of the work is done, but there are a few remaining things left to do.
    Let simmer for a while.

    Serve and enjoy:
Things have turned out quite well, though not perfect, life has turned out fairly delicious, and the lessons have been learned.

  2. OOPS!
Under Seasonings, I meant to say:
Learning how to balance the fine line between ditching a bland life, and not experiencing a grand case of "why did I do this in the first place?" is a process that takes time.
Too much of one thing and not enough of another could easily upset the whole plan.
